Revitalizing Churches across Arizona from Survival to Significance

Restore, Merge, Replant

Pathways

Restoration

(Renewing Independence)

This phase is for churches that want to maintain their unique identity but need to restore their mission and health.

  • The Approach: We met face-to-face and will work together to assess where your church is. This may involve leadership coaching and strategic realignment to help you become a fruitful, multiplying congregation again.

  • The Goal: Build trust with your congregation and shift their focus from inward to outward community impact.

Merge

(Strengthening Through Unity)

This phase is ideal for churches that have a rich history and assets but lack the leadership or "critical mass" to thrive alone.

  • The Approach: CCV can facilitate the combination of two or more declining churches into a single, stronger body. CCV will manage the compatibility assessments, cultural integration, and the legal/financial consolidation.

  • The Goal: To create a renewed community impact by pooling resources and leadership into one thriving mission.

Replant

(Relocation, Acquisition, and Integration)

This phase could go in a couple of directions. First, replant your church in a different location and under new leadership.

Second, for churches in strategic locations at risk of closure, this phase could involve a full transition to the CCV family.

  • The Approach: CCV will follow a detailed relocation process, including facility rebranding and staff integration.

  • The Goal: To ensure a healthy gospel presence in the community by leveraging CCV’s proven systems and resources to "replant" the existing or new location as a new campus.

Who Are We?

In 2026, CCV is offering the REVITA initiative at no charge because we believe in a "More Than Us" approach to the Great Commission, recognizing that we are stewards of the resources and experiences God has entrusted to us. Our history of kingdom-minded generosity—highlighted by the $6 million given in 2019 for church growth and $4.5 million in 2020 during COVID for mental health—reflects our deep conviction that the health of the broader Body of Christ is more important than the expansion of our own church. With Phoenix currently ranked among the most unreached cities in the nation, we realize that CCV alone cannot reach the entire Valley; it requires a collaborative effort to ensure every church is healthy and growing vibrant church. By sharing our expertise in restoration, mergers, and replanting without financial strings attached, we aim to remove barriers for struggling congregations, helping them move from survival to significance so that a gospel-centered presence remains in every neighborhood to win, train, and send disciples for Christ.

Why Use CCV?

Choosing to partner with CCV Pastor Larrie Fraley means gaining access to over four decades of foundational leadership and a proven track record of working with churches here, near, and far. As one of the four founding officers of Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) in 1982, Larrie has been a cornerstone of a movement that grew from a small founding group to a thriving multi-campus church of over 52,000 attendees. His leadership is uniquely multifaceted: he served as the Chairman of the Elders for eight years, providing high-level governance, and spent 25 years as the Lead Missions Pastor, overseeing a $10 million budget and traveling to more than 80 nations. Larrie’s expertise is not merely theoretical; he has personally helped plant and grow hundreds of churches worldwide, blending his deep spiritual commitment with the strategic precision he honed during 19 years as a director at Intel Corporation. Currently a PhD candidate in Biblical Theology and identified as a "Discerner and Inventor", Larrie offers a rare dual perspective that bridges the gap between sophisticated organizational strategy and authentic spiritual transformation. Larrie brings the wisdom of a seasoned practitioner who remains deeply committed to the health and growth of the individual local church and the "More Than Us" vision for Arizona and beyond. And by the way, there is no charge for our services; it’s what we do.

Quotes From Our Sr. Pastor Ashley Wooldridge

“Even if CCV doubled its impact to reach 70,000 people, it would only reach 1.5% of the Valley. This vision acknowledges that reaching the entire Valley and our state requires thriving churches throughout our state.”

“What would happen if we are successful and multiple churches grow and are renewed? Jesus would permeate our cities like never before. Families would be transformed, divorce rates and suicide rates would go down, and schools would be lifted up. Everything changes when people find Jesus."

“CCV is not even close to being able to reach people within a 20-minute driving radius. Revitalizing strategically located churches could reach the valley for Christ.

Four Phased Approach
